Pros

Be part of a tech startup that actually makes real stuff. Be able to see the impact of your work. Good or bad :) Appetite to test and learn new ideas La Croix. Did I mention La Croix?

Cons

You'd have to be self-driven and good a prioritization. Ability to filter the noise and focus on what's important.

Pros

- Company is growing quickly, so there is always the opportunity to take on new responsibilities. - Teams are very cross-functional. Work with software developers/machinists/mechanical engineers/graphic designers/product managers. - Work is tangible. Xometry makes physical products and seeing what we make for our customers is always exciting.

Cons

- High expectations from management, difficult to "turn off" from work.

Pros

Can only speak for the product side of things: Good amount of smart people with diverse backgrounds. There is a lot of space to make an impact on the product. Many parts of the product are not at their potential so there is potential for huge company wins. Starting to hit our stride in terms of how we think about opportunities, product ideas, and implementation. Pace is fast but manageable. Will keep your mind fresh.

Cons

Occasional alignment chaos but it is definitely getting better as we create better operating models. Ambiguities sometimes manifests in teams rowing in slightly different directions. Coworkers can be pretty direct to a fault. Org needs to work on team mentality and just generally being respectful of each other in every way.
