Pros

Growth: This is high-growth company which leads to employee growth opportunities through promotions, projects, and scope growth. Compensation: Between base salary, RSUs (equity), and commissions/bonus (if applicable), the compensation is competitive, Equity: The equity is a great incentive. It gives the employees the opportunity to own their work and win when the company wins. Global Collaboration: It is great to get to work with people all over the world. People: We have some of the best and brightest at Xometry. It is incredible to work with so many subject matter experts, both in technology and manufacturing.

Cons

Structure: This is improving, but with such quick growth, there are still some teams/groups that could use additional infrastructure. This will create more opportunities for efficiencies to develop and will help with scalability.

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Where to begin: Comp plan cut so drastically in 2024 that multiple veteran sales staff left the company with more to follow (example is renewal business that paid 8% in 2023 is now 4%); sales “leadership” still hasn’t figured out its own overly complicated comp plan; constant surveillance culture with various recording tools in place to monitor staff; stock options lost significant value with missed earnings call, no doubt at least partially caused by turbulence in sales channel; look up XMTR stock ticker for more on missed earnings; salary has been cut so severely through massive over hiring that top performers can no longer earn a living. Terrible culture and morale could not be worse. CEO is so disconnected from sales team that he doesn’t even know who the top performers are. And the woman leading these changes is creating what some would describe as a crisis for the very people she and other “leaders” depend on.
