Pros

Everyone at the ground level is really smart and genuinely believes in the mission

Cons

Top-level management is privileged and inexperienced. They have no idea what they are doing, and that's why mid-level management goes through a complete change every few months The company has changed significantly in a year and none of the tribal knowledge or key stakeholders were retained There is SIGNIFICANT Favoritism, schmoozing and bullying. You will only succeed if you praise the leadership and not express your opinion. Your actual contribution to the organization does not matter, they will use and throw employees who do not play the politics All the dead weight at the company is being protected by leadership for unknown reasons (maybe due to playing politics and kiss-ass behavior) The product is broken, and no one seems to care about anything other than the stock price. They will fire you after you complete your projects instead of promoting There is no company culture, all the culture is due to the employees at the ground level

-incompetent trust fund baby executives who do not realize the impact their actions have on their employees -nonsensical promotions of management like a popularity contest instead of promoting the hardworking employees who deserve it -constant last minute changes and fires with little support -reduction in workforce leads to more work for everyone yet nobody is given greater compensation or tools to succeed with increased workloads -tanking stock and constant layoffs, this company is going under

Innovative products, hard working co workers.

Cons

The Co-founders are inexperienced to automotive and truck industry and expect the world from employees and suppliers. Many of our suppliers went above and beyond in the services they provided but the founders always wanted more and usually underpaid for the job in the first place. It was hard to do my job because many of the suppliers would no longer work for us due to non-payment or underpayment; extremely unprofessional. As an exempt employee I worked hundreds of hours for free, it is impossible to have a balanced work / home-life. Even though I gave 110% in my work, it never satisfied. During my time, advice from experienced employees was ignored; extremely talented people left or were let go. This company will squeeze the life out of you and leave you high and dry taking credit for the hard work you accomplished.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. There’s a lot here that we find troubling, and while we would like to affirm that we maintain positive relationships with our suppliers, what we really want to talk about is the feeling of having the life squeezed out of you. Gracious, that’s bad. That’s the opposite of the effect we want to have on anyone, especially our employees. We thank you for the enormous effort you gave, and sincerely apologize that it felt like it was never enough. We do work hard, but we will continue striving to demonstrate our appreciation of our team members and their talents every day. We couldn’t do this without you.
