      Pros

      Teams are tight and unencumbered by egos. Leadership is inspiring. Work/life balance is a priority. The mission is clear and worth your time. And on top of all of that, the compensation is more than competitive. These are the things that I personally care about, and Xpansiv is delivering.

      Cons

      It's a startup in a growth stage, this is not necessarily a con for everyone. But for some who have never experienced it, it can be rough to adapt to, but it is a necessity. Much like code, businesses need to refactor, re-organize and re-prioritize to stay streamlined and moving in the right direction.

      Pros

      The most dynamic and thought leading group of people I've ever had the pleasure of working along side. The mission and execution is one of the most significant efforts to enable voluntary and scalable action towards climate impact and markets transformation at the most foundational point; global commodities.

      Cons

      Rockets are beautiful from the ground, but it is a different story from the inside. This is an early stage company that has found an incredibly well-timed product market fit for its ESG Platform. With that, comes all of the typical challenges of scale, meeting customer demand, and technological and operational growth. If you have not experienced this trajectory before, it can be very volatile and emotionally taxing. If you have experienced this, and for some, thrive on it, then you know this is a hardly a negative. Like all start-ups, the company has had peaks and valleys, celebrated wins and challenging, hard decisions. Like any review site, a lot of the comments on glassdoor are emotionally charged and born from some of the challenging chapters for the company. If considering a position at Xpansiv, my one recommendation is to speak with someone who works here and form your own opinion.

      Pros

      Xpansiv is a growing team of extraordinary people working together to change the way global markets value commodities -- the water, energy, and materials that make up the world. I've never had the privilege of working with so many talented, generous, focused people in my entire career. Very grateful to have landed here.

      Cons

      The company has offices all over the world, so if you're not geared to collaborate virtually -- across multiple time zones -- this can be a frustrating environment.
