Good brand, good work life balance, opportunity to work on internet technologies, good compensation, compared to other internet companies in India Yahoo has comparatively lot of core product development in India and he will get opportunity to build cool things.

Cons

Financial struggle of the company and frequent leadership changes and organization changes causes a uncertainty and insecurity among employees. Once you are in a particular product/team it is not easy to change team and hence learning opportunities are limited.

The overall compensation package is pretty darn good and the work environment is very flexible.

Cons

Business and engineering processes are nearly non-existent. I could probably write a book on all of the problems within Yahoo.

Lots of good engineers. Solving scaling problems only a handful of companies deal with. Good work environment. Good benefits.

Cons

Continual regular reorgs. Useless leadership and board that never inspired. Failure to provide momentum in products. Long product cycles and lots of failed or late projects.
