Pros
I've enjoyed working for Yahoo! since the day I arrived. The other engineers are incredibly bright and everyone is very open to sharing their knowledge. As a result, I've learned a lot in the time that I've been here, moreso than in any other job I've ever had. I feel like there's always someone with more experience and knowledge that I can to for advice, which is a really great benefit of working here.
Cons
Constantly being compared to Google gets annoying. Sometimes it seems that we get penalized when Google does something good instead of being praised when we do something good. Yahoo! does so many great things, and the fact that those get overshadowed by Google's ridiculous growth rate and results can be frustrating.
