Pros

None. This is the worst place to work. You will work with dinosaur technology, inane management, bottom of the barrel pay.

Cons

Bottom line: This company sucks! Don't come!

Pros

Very smart, talented and capable employees. Opportunity to learn how to be effective despite a not-so-perfect organization. Laid back atmosphere with plenty of resources. Good work-life balance if you join the right group. Some great managers to learn from and be mentored under.

Cons

Terrible, arrogant and incompetent management. Great managers get demoralized and defeated by the pattern of bad management at Yahoo and leave. Lower level employees too become disillusioned by either seeing their work go in vain or a lack of direction from senior management. Mediocre morale and constant feeling of being 'second-rate'. Vague and meaningless mission statement that evokes more confusion than anything else.

Pros

Good company benefits, plenty of holidays, laid back work atmosphere and dress code, great location in central London, flexible work hours.

Cons

Incompetent management at all levels, lack of planning, very poor work ethics at all levels, very poor communication, having to work for a company that betrays free speech by helping the chinese government to emprison pro-democratic journalists, a company making huge profits through its active support of the shark finning industry (Yahoo! owns 40% of alibaba.com), a cruel and barbaric activity banned in many countries but not illegal in China, which has lead of the slaughter of over 90% of all sharks in the last 30 years, putting many shark species on the list of endangered species.
