      Nice name to have on resume, not much more

      Pros

      Modern, secure offices. Newest technology is often deployed rapidly. Mostly smart people working in IT. Laid back environment.

      Cons

      Poorly managed. Titles are handed out like M&M's and often not earned. Policies, procedures, standards are lacking. IT is a pushover for this business, in this case Yale faculty. The lack of adherence to IT best practices often puts unnecessary pressure on IT. Work from home non-existent.

      Pros

      interesting people to work with, good benefits.

      Cons

      Union and Management don't get along very well. Both sides continually try to stick it to the other, Management hiding their bad behavior and the Union never trusting anything said to them (with good reason.)
