Pros

The CEO and people are nice. Coffee and teas are provided. The software is pretty straight forward if you’re not on the PHA/Affordable side of the company. Free food is provided on occasion.

Cons

Old and traditional ways The CEO and upper level management are out of touch with reality when it comes to work from home policies The fake good reviews. It’s so obvious

At Yardi we believe in taking care of our employees, clients and communities. Unfortunately, without more details as to why you are upset, we’re not able to look into your particular concerns. Glassdoor does not allow for fake reviews, and we appreciate both the good and the not so good. Ideally, any less than positive reviews are viewed as an opportunity to drill down to fully understand the situation and consider steps to improve. As of mid-March, we transferred majority of our employees to a work from home environment and it is going extremely well. While we aren’t in a rush to get employees back to the office, many of our employees are looking forward to being back in the office, when it’s safe to do so, and connecting with their coworkers. We encourage you to reach out to HR to discuss your concerns.

Pros

Benefits, Work/Life Balance, 401K, Co-Workers

Cons

There is a lot of favoritism that goes on in regards to the management, and most, if not all of it goes towards the men in our office. There have been plenty of other reviews stating the same thing and it got the attention of the corporate office to the point where they came in and conducted one on one sit downs with anyone who wanted to discuss their concerns. The response was so overwhelming that the VP ended up having to extend her trip and stay longer. I had hopes that this would make a difference and I have seen only the opposite. It was brought to my attention, as well as others that several people (all men from my team) received additional raises for whatever reason. It is so very frustrating to see that some of us women that have worked hard and put our everything into our clients and jobs once again were over looked. I am slowly losing respect for this company and how it handles it's salaries, bonuses and raises.

Yardi recognizes and compensates employees without regard to department, role, or gender. We continue to work on improving transparency, communication, education, and career growth in Dallas and all of our offices. We take pride in our culture and genuinely encourage anyone who feels they are not being treated properly to reach out to our Vice President of HR so that we can work directly with you.

Pros

Decent, smart people. Good clients.

Cons

Orwell's 1984 meets corporate wasteland. They hire great people and then begin to reprogram and grind them down into corporate "yes men." Zero flexibility and as innovative as Ward Cleaver (Leave it to Beaver).

All of our teams play critical roles in our success and many of our products were initiated through ideas from our employees. Some of Yardi’s beliefs and values include integrity, trust, communication, responsibility, and respect – all traits that Ward Cleaver had as well! We would never want to change the amazing people that make up Yardi’s great culture. There are many reasons why Anant Yardi has been rated one of Glassdoor’s Top 50 CEOs the past two years and one of them is that his open door leads in, not out. We hope you find a company that better suits your needs.
