Pros

Working at Yardzen has been a blast so far. The founders both have a knack for identifying top talent and have built an incredible team of employees. Working from home is not for everyone, but I prefer it and Yardzen is remote-first due to the pandemic. The company feels like a flat organization, and the founders are both highly involved in the entire business. I don't feel like I am at work everyday, I feel like I am working on a team project!

Yardzen is an inspiring place to work-- we have a rockstar team with diverse backgrounds and everyone is committed to making a positive impact. The company provides a fulfilling and exciting work environment, which has made for a great start to my career. There is plenty of opportunity for upward growth in this fast-paced startup.

Cons

The fast-paced environment may not be for everyone, but it's certainly a great fit for me!

A wonderful company of diverse people: skilled landscapers, knowledgeable product managers, passionate engineers, product gurus, and marketing aficionados. All ideas are heard, no matter what department you are in. Truly a collaborative work environment! Plus, leadership that lives the ethos of the product: outdoor living, sustainability, and design thinking.

Cons

Like any start up, people work hard and fast!
