Great interview process & awesome place to work
Pros
-Great interview process - streamlined, comprehensive, exciting, engaging. Especially appreciated the take-home exercise, which gave me strong insight into the role itself. The take-home was what really drove my conviction in the work we'd be doing (ie: it was the moment I realized I would both enjoy and be well-equipped to perform in the role) and I found that it was a helpful basis of knowledge for the rest of the interview process. -The 'superday' of interviews is both exciting and exhausting -- you have the opportunity to meet so many folks across the company, but the loaded schedule is definitely a test in it of itself! -Wonderful culture & people -Great benefits/perks; many career advancement opportunities available
Cons
-Of course, onboarding virtually is a challenge (there's a lot you can learn from sitting in an office and hearing how people talk to each other, clients, etc that I'm, of course, missing out on). However, the team has done as good of a job possible in our remote environment (very comprehensive training schedule, swift access to management for questions/catchups) - and I've appreciated how much Yipit invests in its onboarding (even the CEO participates in your training process!).
