Expect growth but don’t give you the tools or support to grow

Pros

I met a lot of great co workers in this company.

Cons

I did not mention my job title because I worked in a more specific sector of Yoh and I don’t want to be singled out. Overall, I was not given the opportunity or chance to grow in my position. Communication with my manager became very minimal towards the end of my working there, because they failed to answer my emails. I did not feel supported in my position, and I did not ask unnecessary questions. I understand that there were things I needed to work on, but these things were completely achievable and I was improving. Still, I did not feel the support from my job at all and I was shot down when initiating conversation. This is a big company and they try to preach growth and openness, but they don’t practice it.

Pros

Support from peers in my same role.

Cons

Salaries are under market value. Movement to other roles within the organization is not a given and more often than not individuals were unable to be re-assigned. Direct manager and HR were located in another state. Lack of direct manager and HR support, engagement and follow-through. Emails and phone calls did not receive responses for days, if at all. Promises were made and not kept. Zero training was provided - no on-boarding and taught myself as I went or reached out to colleagues in the same position for assistance. Was asked to lie to subordinates under the guise of "this is what's best for them" while receiving feedback on how to be an "authentic" leader.

Pros

Interesting clients, could be a strong business model, attracts hardworking employees who will give there best, coast to coast opportunities.

Cons

*Yoh HR & Leadership does not listen to employees, especially when many legal issues were brought to the attention of HR & Leadership about several areas: performance reviews, bullying in the workplace and the workload being so out of balance.
