Pros

What a wonderful mission. Nothing more rewarding than bringing kids to Christ. Beautiful camps to send our kids to. Supportive and loving community. It's fun... Young Life is all about fun and enjoying life.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations for very low pay.

Great Boss

Pros

I love being able to go talk to my boss about anything. He cares about me, my walk with God, and my work ethic. I love how I can do my job as I live my day to day life.

Cons

Not an 9-5 job... This is a full-time, 24/7 job.

Pros

Great culture of fun, adventure, humor. Love working with these people...the upper management is humorous and really seem to care about lower level people but don't have the time to invest in them.

Cons

Pay-Came on staff and make $1650/mo (pre tax) in the first two years. Sometimes ministry has no boundaries (work at nights/weekends), and it's hard if you're coming in to a new area.
