      Pros

      A very nice place to work. All of the associates are very friendly and helpful. Not to mention a very thoughtful and caring president, Mr Eric Fraint .

      Cons

      Too much food and drink in the kitchen, I always get distracted.

      Pros

      The people are great to work with. The hours are flexible but consistent . There is opportunity for advancement. Family atmosphere.

      Cons

      They are working with outdated softwares systems in several areas of the company. Employees tend to set their own job descriptions.

      Thanks for your comments. We are eager to understand to what you are referring in terms of "outdated software systems". We always work with our client's software - and never force them to change to what we use. Regarding the employees setting their own job descriptions - each engagement is different, so the job description can't be rigid. We need to have a great deal of flexibility to be able to serve our clients in the manner that we do. I'd love to hear any suggestions offline if you're willing to discuss!       Great Accounting Position!

      Pros

      “I came to YPTC in 2009 after 12 years in public accounting, and found this work to be a lot less stressful. One of the major benefits over public accounting and auditing is that in my previous career my clients dreaded seeing me, but at YPTC they enjoy seeing me. On my birthday recently, they sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to me – that was a treat! “I enjoy the hands-on nature of the work, and I love the variety: I’m exposed to a lot of different types of nonprofit organizations. The YPTC staff has been friendly, receptive and welcoming to me, and there’s a great mentoring program.”

      Cons

      Not too many. Work can be a little hectic if you don't know how to multitask.
