Pros

Flexible schedule, great management and support. Always looking to help.

Cons

Client cancellations and 25 hour minimum face to face time with clients. This was sometimes difficult due to multiple last minute cancellations.

Pros

You are able to schedule sessions when available

Cons

Extremely mismanaged, not enough hours, and they won't deposit your pay in your bank account...they put it on some third party bank card which is concerning.

A passion job

Pros

You get to make a difference in the lives of kids. Super rewarding. I loved working with the kids I was assigned. You also learn a lot about what is available in the community. I can't think of another nonprofit that serves kids better than this one.

Cons

If you're not passionate about helping, don't work here. The pay is typical of this kind of work. Be prepared to drive a lot. Be prepared to handle angry teenagers.
