Pros

Loved the variety of young people, great IT system, some very hard working and caring team members and advocates.

Cons

Bad management. No regard for staff or for the overall goal of the programme. Hated the pretence that the young people were at the focus of the decision making. Lack of quailified senior management. Baltant bullying taking place with no intervention from senior management.

Many time consuming roles of the position are paid at $10 / hour. Only hours spent with clients are paid at $18.

Pros

I whole heartedly love the work that I do and as difficult as it can be, the good days outweigh the bad. Pay is not too bad. Takes time but my office will work with you on getting you with clients matching your personality and guide you. Schedule offers flexibility which is great.

Cons

No given vacation time but can be requested, no PTO unless full-time 40+ hour worker which is not common for TSS position.
