Easy hours, limited upward mobility

Pros

Flex hours, 9/80 work schedule for Northville office, almost impossible to lose job (becomes a con after you hire enough lazy people)

Cons

Lack of accountability leads to environment where most of the work done by a handful of people (rest lazy/incompetent/don't care), you can only get fast-tracked if you're German, office politics (especially between regions) extreme, less focus on accomplishments and more on keeping up appearances

Pros

Work life balance is great Low stress

Cons

HR is the worst I have ever experienced Poor at communication, no one listens to employees, the company is full of yes men who fall in line and just follow orders. Unfair salaries between legacy employees and new hires. They do not reward loyalty

We apologize if you feel that new hires are being paid more than long-term employees. We can assure you that this is not intentional or reflective of the value we place on our long-term employees. Our pay structure is based on a number of factors, including market trends, job responsibilities, and experience levels. New North American leadership is destroying the company

Pros

The company has long history and used to have very highly competent leadership and employees. There are a lot of loyal and hardworking employees that are willing to give far beyond than standard. There has been a "brain drain" of competent and hard working employees.

Cons

New North American leadership is focused on micromanaging and do-as-I say-not-as-I-do approach. The cost cutting measures such as travel limitations, mandatory return to office, not rehiring for vacant position but rather requiring remaining employees to pick up the extra workload without extra compensation. and cutting the benefits, has really demoralized the company and left those that are competent and hard working looking for other opportunities or too burned out. Recently, the company also implemented demotion of some employees because consultants told them there were too many layers in the company.
