      Never-ending drudgery

      Pros

      The product is fairly well-made, and typically works

      Cons

      No chance to advance (supervisors and above mostly hired from the outside) or move around the company if you are not favored by management. Horrible direction from management as well as senior management. No new product in over 10 years for a tech company seems absurd as does the fact that the initial issues after first release are still the same issues. Senior management remains stagnant and unmoving. Appears to just be maintaining the status quo.

      Pros

      Nicely renovated building, free mediocre coffee, on-site cafe and gym. Most co-workers are friendly and helpful.

      Cons

      Turnover is extremely high and micromanagement is rampant. Supervisor gives inconsistent direction that conflicts with what is observed. Unorganized training that amounts to 2-3 days of observation then you are expected to hit the ground running no questions asked. Asking questions for clarification of best practices will be misconstrued as criticism or that you're trying to change how they operate.

      Good Benefits. On site Gym. Low key environment.

      Cons

      No intranet. Communication issues at all levels. Low level of Employee Engagement. Quiet offices, not a lot of enthusiasm by employees or leaders. No path for career development. Some Long term leaders resistant to change.
