Like a lot of the reviews have stated, the environment IS a little quiet. There is not a lot of cross-department communication, because some managers are afraid of over-sharing information. It is a very traditional type of office, the opposite of a start up culture. If you're looking for bean bag chairs in the lounges and weekly team building paintball outings, this is NOT the place for you. If you're looking for an opportunity to start your career working with a fast-growing technical company, you'll be fine here. It may not be the funnest place to work, but you will learn and get a bit of working experience. I think a lot of the negative reviews on here come from people who maybe expected a higher-energy type of office. ZT is a quiet, get-your-work-done type of environment, and you have to really understand that in order to not dread coming into work everyday.

1. suggestions are frowned upon. 2. communication is frowned upon, even within a team. hence no one care about the company performance anymore. 3. no break, especially if you're an engineer. 4. casual friday is misleading, its not casual at all,you're allowed tto wear sneaker, thats it. 5. 401k is available, but with very low roth rate. 6. cramped work environment 7. alot of backstabbing people. 8. achievements are not recognize, only those with big mouths are being rewarded, if you only work hard, no one cares. 9. we have a CEO?? 10. very disorganized, outdated technology. 11. very depressed environment, like seriously depressed. only management allowed to laugh, while they dump all of their works to engineers. 12. yes, engineers are treated like crap here.
