Pros

Great team support and smooth workflow. The company is really chill and provides a productive environment. There's no micromanagement and a pretty healthy corporate atmosphere in the office.

Cons

They don't trust their own employees. Sometimes when you ask a question or try to get access to some data, you need to go through many layers of security. Plus, the pay isn't that great, at least for me, and they don't pay for military leave.

Pros

I’ll try to be as fair as possible in my review. If you are new to IT and have little to no experience, ZT Systems is a good place to start your career and gain valuable experience, especially as an IT technician. The best aspect of working at ZT Systems is the coworkers. Most of them are always willing to help, and if you find a helpful coworker and ask many questions, you’ll do just fine. I loved my coworkers and miss them dearly. Working here provides exposure to how a big company is managed and how things operate in real life. The company offers good health insurance (at least in my experience). Additionally, you get generous PTO and sick time. Pros: -Supportive coworkers -Good health insurance -Free coffee and snacks (JUNK food, mostly) -Generous PTO and sick time

Cons

If you’re not an engineer and are working as a Test Technician, you might feel frustrated with the pay at ZT Systems. They offer perks instead of competitive pay. Over time, your worth does not match your pay. If you work exceptionally hard, you might get promoted and receive a raise of $0.25, $0.50, or maybe $1 an hour, along with more responsibilities. Regardless of your productivity or efficiency, profits remain concentrated at the top (trickle-down economics does not work here, baby). Perhaps at the corporate level, in higher positions such as engineers, directors, and executives, employees are treated better. At times, it feels like no one cares about how hard you work, and many technicians believe that growth is only possible if you’re a ‘boot licker’ or know someone in higher management. It seems that management does not care about your health or well-being, and there are concerns about potential OSHA violations. Management tends to protect themselves vs the team. There is very limited growth for Test Technicians, and the turnover rate is very high, especially for server or test technicians, due to low pay and limited growth opportunities. Cons: -Low pay and limited growth -No cell phone use allowed in the production area (family emergencies must go through a company-provided number) -Poor work/life balance -Standing on your feet all the time My advice: While you’re at ZT Systems, make sure to absorb and learn as much as you can. I wouldn’t recommend spending more than one or two years working at ZT. Therefore, consider obtaining a certification or something similar and then get out as soon as possible.
