At times, I feel slightly out-of-place, particularly during non-work-related conversations, and I find it challenging to engage and contribute. Generally, I consider myself an ambivert who enjoys conversations as a whole. However, I notice that I tend to lean more toward introversion when interacting with my colleagues in informal settings, such as team dinners, and so on. Now I see, that this might be a personal trait, and being from a different cultural background, there could be perceived cultural barriers at play. Nevertheless, in a company that places significant emphasis on DEI and Respect, I believe there are opportunities to support employees who may be experiencing similar feelings.
