Right place for achievers not for those dreaming for a so called "perfect" dream company
Pros
1) Lot to learn and implement 2) Many growth opportunities within the departments and possibility of inter-department transfer 3) Excellent product, which has evolved with so many years employee contributions which is keeping up with market and customers need 4) Excellent company for those who think out of the box and want their ideas to heard and implemented 5) Top management and mid management are approachable 6) Owners are very down to earth and are well informed about each and every employee in the organization 7) Salary were revised recently to match the market 8) Owners try to provide benefits to keep the employees happy I am not relative, or co-founder or anywhere connected to the mgmt, but the recent reviews and comments by few unhappy, unsatisfied employees/ex-employees led me to write my views about this company. I have been with this company for over 5 years and have worked with every co-founder. There have been multiple opportunities to work with the owners and the experience has always been wonderful. People are valued for their work, dedication and sincerity and not for other reasons. People who are expecting to relax while at work no pressure and that they should not be held responsible for anything will surely not find a proper footing in this organization. This is not a cyber cafe to be sitting, browsing and whiling away time, the organization demands dedication and work too. As for the owners, they came a hard way to bring this company to the level where it is today, a lot of pain, passion and work has gone into it and if they are being protective about it, I am sure this has a valid reason. The anger and ego that is being talked about should be considered as passion too. There is no such perfect company or organization where there are no flaws or issues. Well if I am wrong I would like to question all those who are unhappy and left and said a lot of unpleasant things why did they leave their company and join ZeOmega :). Most people who are being accused of favoritism have worked for years and spent a lot of their personal time also to get the work done so I think we should look at both sides of the coin and not tag them. I would also like to question how many CEOs actually know their staff by name? so this is a story of half empty glass vs half full glass. Management is open to ideas and options. The company has a long way to go and the co founders and owners are passionate about the company and people. The recent re location being a wonderful example of the same. As for those talking about long working hours, the office hours are flexible people get work from home options as well.
Cons
Long hours are coz they have to coordinate with the team in Bangalore but then it again depends on how we organize the work and prioritize it. Teams have recently been set to work in the US hours to protect interest of those working in US and vice versa.
