      Had the opportunity to learn a lot.

      Was put into a position without a lot of training. The environment or team was very cut throat and was afraid to make any mistakes.

      Good place to Intern

      Pros

      The best thing about Zebra was the people. All the my coworkers and direct managers were a joy to be around. This is directed towards the engineering department in which I was assigned. Also, the internship program was great and gave intern's the opportunity to have lunch with the CEO.

      Cons

      There's a lot of non-interesting documentation that is required with each engineering project. This was somewhat expected, but was time consuming and took away from some interesting projects.

      Disorganized, Inconsistent, Unfair Treatment

      Pros

      Many nice people at the working level.

      Cons

      People are let go for unfair accusations. Security is not taken seriously. Executive Management ignores calls when there are clear issues that need their attention. Unrealistic budgets. Lack of communication from higher levels who "pull rank". Very disorganized and the Motorola merger was not well managed. Minimum use of tools. Many PMOs with poorly documented processes that are ineffective. Excel is the corporate database.
