Pros

Great mission, you get to be a part something that has a direct impact on the security of our country.

Cons

The contract was offered to the second lowest bidder so the salary is below average. No room significant growth. Due to drastic salary cuts, most of the experienced workers are searching for new jobs.

Pros

*Great Job providing live intelligence support to Special Operations Force missions *Work with professionals with a great spectrum of experience in different agencies and military branches (great potential to learn) *Higher level positions are filled from within, versus externally *Good company managers at all levels that are approachable and care *Lots of potential ways to grow (qualifications, responsibility, other areas of work - like in the dayshops and on the AFSOC Staff)

Cons

Not much to complain about - Salary was higher in the past (wish it was still at those levels), but the environment for this career field is being saturated and contracts are not paying what they were. The healthcare is pricey but I use Tri-Care for health and only get Dental and Vision which are reasonable. Some of the younger analysts (mil/gov and contractor alike) need a little more mentorship and can be immature. It can be tough though since the supervisors for all types are working the mission too and may not see things that could be fixed as they occur.

Pros

Caring Management Team that follows through on promises (Promotions from within, making changes where possible to make things better) Great job with a rewarding mission PM/Site Lead/Dep Site Lead that has worked through the ranks and understands issues 401K matching

Cons

Healthcare Benefits could be better Small Business headaches (Timecard system, smaller support staff at corporate level (very friendly though), learning curve to deal with our work schedule)

Good news! Healthcare Benefits for 2017 will be much more affordable and tuition assistance is now available. Additionally we are increasing the leave accrual and will be implementing a progressive accrual program that grows with years of service. Additionally we will be improving parts of our infrastructure to better serve our employees and manage the growth we have been experiencing (such as a new timecard system). Thank you for your feedback! We will continue to make strides where possible to improve your experience as part of the ZelTech family.
