Pros
We are always working, no lay-offs. Easy to get to the building. Nice walking in nearby park at lunch. I leave the job at work and do not think about it. (The managers work 70-80 hours a week doing multiple tasks, so they would probably give work/life balance a negative score.)
Cons
1. Too much work assigned to each person to thoroughly get the job done. I have to speed through work to meet deadlines which means more mistakes than I should have. When employees quit I have MORE work. 2. Difficult to hire someone who has base knowledge, who is willing to work 8 hours, instead of talking for half the time and working half. 3. managers who are not at the work site are crabby, stressed and say one thing and do another-not trained to be pleasant or effective. 4. unrealistic expectations from the upper managers who have never done this job and do not know how to deliver excellent service
