Pros

Stellar remote work environment with ability to come together as a team fairly often. Pay is fair.

Cons

Many AWS transplants have brought over the toxic mentality. You’ll be stabbed in the back and get many fake agreement. Overall lost identity I’d say.

Thank you for sharing your review. It’s good to hear that flexibility and the ability to come together as a team have remained strengths. At the same time, comments around trust and team dynamics highlight areas that deserve attention. Our core values are meant to guide how we collaborate and support one another, especially as teams evolve. For current employees, there are established ways to raise concerns, including confidential options outlined on the company intranet. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Pros

They gave good experience while I worked there. They used to have decent benefits and decent raises.

Cons

This company has constant reorgs and layoffs. They try and disguise them as performance issues most recently and they sometimes harass employees to try and get them to quit first. There reorgs often don't make since either. They are being sued by many parties and it's easy to see why. Just google Zillow lawsuits to see some of them. They are trying to cut costs while using AI to eliminate jobs and/or using cheaper staff in some cases, but they have to hide this to keep employees from leaving before they have what they need. Part of it is probably to pay the costs of all the money they'll have to pay out if any of these lawsuits stand. Think they tried to push up the stock price, but their approach didn't work and they have huge holes from letting go good employees. They sometimes rehire for those roles later because they later figure out AI can't do the job, nor could the existing teams because.. they laid off or let go quality employees. And if your a great employee, hard worker, do a high volume, and know the details, that can't be replaced. My advise to current employees: be pro-active while working here. Don't think of them as a permanent employer. Also, get ahead of them before they start asking you how to do your job.

Pros

Dynamic company with a ubiquitous market share. There are some really talented, smart people with a lot of energy. Provides severance packages - decent of you

Cons

Salary ranges are below market Does not subsidize benefits, and they're EXPENSIVE Raises are infinitessimal. You're simply tossed more stock options with the hope you stay invested to earn them "one of these days", but.... Then lays off hundreds of passionate employees at the drop of a hat with lame cover stories that no one believes so that they don't have to call them layoffs. And just to be petty, the food at company events is dreadful, sometimes inedible.
