Pros

Nice building, clients are world known

Cons

Jordan Zimmerman runs this company much how North Korea is run. On a recent call, he instructed employees to work 2.5x more per day (8 x 2.5 = 20 hours). He said if you are unwilling to work 20 hours a day you need to quit so he can hire someone who is willing to work 20 hours a day. Since Covid-19 he has laid off 1/3rd of the workforce and is now monitoring people's systems, emails and chats to ensure you are in fact working 20 hours a day. If you are not you will be in fear of losing your job without the possibility of unemployment benefits. You are constantly in fear of being fired for political reasons. You may not voice your opinion for fear of retaliation. The HR team is not qualified to be in their positions and lacks the certifications typically found for a company of this size.

Toxic - Run, Don't Walk

Pros

Pro's are: if you can survive here, you can survive anywhere.

Cons

Let me start by saying that all of the positive reviews on Glassdoor are a lie. HR asks new employees within their first week to write positive reviews in effort to help outweigh some of the negative, yet true reviews. From entry to executive level, most people entering the building everyday are miserable and have no trouble hiding it. This is a client first organization and operates very much like a sweat shop. People are overworked, underpaid and definitely undervalued. Not only is the internal turnover high, but clients don't stick around long either once they realize that half of what they're promised cannot be done to the magnitude it was sold in as. For it to be such a big agency, Jordan Zimmerman is still very much involved in the day to day, therefore people are constantly walking on eggshells. This is not a healthy workplace. Do not do it to yourself. Reach out to some former employees and ask. Don't be fooled by the building and the glam. This company is the laughing stock of the industry and South Florida. RUN !

Pros

There are some great people within; they have to be great to tolerate the non-stop 24/7/365 more-more-more mantra.

Cons

Too many control freaks battling one another at the top. ECD Nathanson is a dinosaur. They use one pitch every time "more for less." Staying there more than a year or two kills your career if you're in the creative department. They dismiss people without even telling them why.
