Unprofessional and Incompetent
Pros
The company is young and kind of “hip.” I met some of the most amazing people there; the kind of friends you hold on to.
Cons
I was unprepared for the level of incompetence I would face. My department was headed by someone with zero expertise in the field we worked in. My head was ready to explode as I listened to how my boss talked about data. Combine this with unprofessionalism and we get a ridiculous mixture. My boss routinely bad-mouthed former employees in front of our entire team for no reason. I personally witnessed us falsify data and coverup mistakes in our work, rather than bring them to light. I’ve never had such a miserable experience in my life. Working at Zimmerman took a piece of my soul that I only realized was missing once I left. I’d rather be homeless than go back.
