Pros

The culture really has been about collaboration. And from a "product" aspect, you really are driving the wheel behind a product that is looking to disrupt an aging industry with technology and innovation. It is probably one of the most exciting time in a startup life!

Cons

2020 was tough. The company was hoping to grow but the pandemic made it challenging and there were people that were hired that were let go within 2-3 months of their hire dates. These layoffs were not based on the employee's skillsets or incapability to deliver....it was about dealing with a pandemic and right sizing the company to face 2021. I sincerely believe that the company has restructured correctly and is focused to deliver in 2021.

Pros

Until the first (of several) round of lay-off, the entire Zinier team were focused and worked together as the best multi-national team I have ever been a part.

Cons

Reality and understanding of the customer landscape and what is expected of a "enterprise-ready" company is more lacking than ever now. Stability of a platform comes with certain responsibilities when trying to fit into the "enterprise-ready" category.

Pros

The people are great from top to bottom, without exception from what I've seen so far. It's an amazing platform that is unique in the marketplace and there is an emphasis on rapid development. Product management is keenly interested in gathering input from what sales is seeing and has seen in the field. I have never seen or even heard of a company taking this input then turning around and applying it to the product as quickly as they have here. A huge emphasis has been made over the last few month to streamline the company structure for success. It's always hard to see this happen. I've worked with very large companies like Oracle and Salesforce where this is not uncommon. As a sales executive, the sales management has been fantastic. The sales tools and support they have provided us with are better than what I had at Salesforce and Oracle. And there's a singular vision and focus on what needs to be done and providing us the support to do it without all of the BS fire drills and distractions.

Cons

There have been some recent layoffs, and when people are let go in a small company, they feel like family and it's hard to see that happen and it feels more personal. I'd probably feel the same way if I were in their shoes. Frankly in my role, I haven't seen many downsides here yet.
