Pros

I love working from home and being allowed some flexibility with hours. The culture at this company is they care and will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy.

Cons

Promotional potential is slower than I anticipated. I was hoping to see more positions open up with the amount of growth the company is experiencing. It seems like they favor younger people for upper management positions, which really limits them.

Hey, thank you for the review and the feedback, too. About the opportunity for growth. The amount of people who work outside of the ZA role is still relatively small compared to how many ZAs we have. For an idea, it's about a ratio of 1:10—for every 1 "core team" employee we have 10 ZAs. It's really important to us, though, to make opportunities for people within the company. We're all about learning, growing, and developing and we want to make sure that we build a company where people can do that. Who wants to do the same thing over and over forever? A Tony Robbins line sticks out to me here: "The only thing that makes you happy long-term is growing and giving." We're good at the giving (that's what our service is all about) but we want to be better at the growing part. - Collin

Don't Waste Your Time

Pros

Remote work is really the only pro I can think of.

Cons

They mis-classify you as a Independent Contractor when in reality you have to be glued to your computer/lap top from 9am - 6pm for their clients. They ask you to work after hours BUT they don't pay you the overtime hours and essentially don't discourage clients for making arrangements with their VA's to work overtime. The pay is $11 an hour and doesn't matter if the client buys a premium package either which is really unethical in my humble opinion. VA's are really skilled IC's and should be paid as such. Don't work for companies like these, just go on Social Media and approach ppl you would like to work with. You can earn up to $40 an hour if you are resourceful enough. that's what I did.

Pros

Work from home, steady hours, good benefits. The other ZAs and Pod Leaders were usually fantastic people. My clients were great (but I knew many people with abusive clients unfortunately).

Cons

Extremely low pay for market rates for a VA. Company imploded unexpectedly and left hundreds of workers without pay or severance. The higher ups had "drank the kool aid" and were spouting Z culture up to days before the implosion. No recourse for ZAs with abusive clients.
