Pros

Working from home, other ZAs are wonderful people.

Cons

Terrible wage particularly since switching to the per hour pay system, constant change of policies, inconsistent in-practice values as compared to what they posit as their 'corporate culture', external hiring for higher positions often despite promises of 'opportunities' to grow with the company

Pros

You get to work with some very nice interesting people from all over the world, and clients that you wouldn't normally meet if you worked in an office 9 to 5. Everyone is very helpful and they have a family atmosphere. Working from home as a full time job is awesome! Work/life balance is good. Growing company with staying power.

Cons

It can be a challenge to get and keep full time clients. Recent changes have made working here a bit chaotic because they keep changing the rules, procedures and employment requirements. It is a young company with a young attitude which can be hard for established CEO's and business people to grasp and can seem a bit unprofessional.

Not As Great As Promised

Pros

Management and employees seem to be very nice people and there are places to go for help in dealing with difficult or unusual requests. Excellent training program. For stay-at-home moms or retirees, it's a good way to earn a little extra money from home while saving money on car, wardrobe, and/or daycare expenses.

Cons

Clients come and go A LOT, for reasons you have no control over, so the amount you make varies from month to month. Zirtual operates on a Walmart model (low prices, low wages, high turnover of both clients and employees), so don't expect to be able to support yourself on what you make. You are expected to be available all day during regular business hours, but are only paid for "active" time. Even one demanding client means that the much-touted "Zirtual Lifestyle" of freedom to schedule your tasks and be available to take the kids to the park after school goes right out the window.
