A good training ground...

Pros

This is a great training ground for those who wants to learn, but required thick skin. I believe in the products that Zonar Systems set out to create. The products offer real-time analysis and solutions for the end users.

Cons

The only depart that gets "SPECIAL" treatment is the software development team. Very high turn over ratio. The company cycles VPs like they are disposable garbage.

Thanks for taking the time to give us some feedback. We are very proud of our products that help make our customer’s lives safer and easier. With that said, Zonar is definitely a fast-paced work environment that is not for everyone. We take sexual harassment claims very seriously here at Zonar and any reported claims are addressed immediately. We are a Harassment-Free Workplace and strongly encourage any employee who feels uncomfortable or is made uncomfortable by another person in their work environment for any reason to report these incidents to Management Staff and/or speak to an HR representative.

Pros

Profitable, growing company. Interesting technology - has both hardware and software. I really like the people I work with. Collaborative. Lots of career development and training offered to the employees.

Cons

Startup environment - if you don't like fast-growing technology "start up like" environments, this isn't for you. Must be comfortable wearing many hats and pitching in as part of a team.

Pros

The people here are great to work with. Smaller company with realistic goals and a plan to get there. A variety of different projects using different technologies. A great place to learn and expand breadth, and/or depth of knowledge. Lots of opportunities for growth and advancement. Opportunities to change departments. Diverse culture and environment. A fun place to work!

Cons

Location (Engineering department is currently in Tukwila, but moving to Pioneer Square in July) Upper management still trying to define agile processes
