Pros

Lunch is good. So is WFH.

Cons

Tired of getting pinged by random people, sometimes at odd hours, no sense of a team so I’m mostly on my own. Doesn’t feel like I’m growing my career.

Pros

You can work remote. Excellent benefits for years until recently. Great coworkers.

Cons

They cut benefits which likely won’t come back after the recession. We’ll see if layoffs aren’t far behind. Froze all salaries/promotions

Pros

Great pay and benefits. Most of the staff are great people to work with. You can choose to work 100% remote as an option. Unlimited MTO. The MTO is great only if your workload allows you to take time off to use it.

Cons

Managers put excessive workloads on employees. Management promoted many employees to outside of the group to other areas of the company and replaced them with unexperienced staff that lacked Zoom technology-related skills. Sometimes they did not fill the vacated positions at all. Most of the time we were too busy to take MTO and sometimes we ended up working during vacation. Sales repeatedly quoted projects that exceeded Zoom's technical capabilities. In some cases, we were expected to get projects completed with a lack of adequate technical and/or labor resources. My manager was somewhat inexperienced in working with people and lacked some of the basic people-management skills. Field personnel are seriously overworked and they regularly vented their frustration to management. It did not used to be this way when I started with Zoom.
