Pros

Looks pretty from the outside-bright lighting, hip and cool looking environment/computers

Cons

No substance -nothing to back it up-if you have anything that is more serious than a cold, or something, it's hard for providers to give the care that is appropriate-if you need suturing or I&D, they have nobody to help with setup/cleanup, prepping patient, etc, if you need labs, it's a nightmare to get them done, then to get results and get them back to the patient. Forget followup. So, even though providers are told they could and should develop a panel of followers, it is nearly impossible to do so in any kind of meaningful or continuous manner

Pros

The location was great for me as it was easy to get to from the bus, and close to a workout studio that I loved. The HR generalist was incredibly supportive. Supportive colleagues.

Cons

The billing team is a small team whose morale was obviously shattered, and it didn't improve during my tenure. There is little to no mobility within the team, and very few other roles in which to move at HQ. Compensation was very poor, especially since there was almost no possibility to move up, much less laterally. There was little inter-team communication; most people were plugged into their phones, listening to music the whole time, so it felt very isolating to me. Primary con: no possibility for real promotion or hope to use a diversity of skills. Poor morale.

Pros

Schedule flexibility Amazing coworkers Management has really improved in the last year Great health benefits $40 a month for unlimited care

Cons

Hard hard hard work! If you got into healthcare to sit on your butt and be treated like royalty this is not the place for you. If you got into healthcare to take care of sick people and bust your hump while making a difference, this is the company for you. I’m so sick of my entitled peers constantly whining about benefits and not having enough perks. This company has cleared a path for us to provide good quality care to people who need it. Just do your job or find a different company to work for that fits better with your values.
