Pros

Great benefits, above market compensation and good PTO out of the gate. Office is an easy commute from Portland - takes me 12 minutes from downtown. The sales team works hard and is rewarded handsomely for success. We are challenged to continuously improve and to think differently. I have grown as a sales professional in my time here as I am surrounded by a diverse group of talented sales pros. We also sell to sales execs and marketers which makes understanding the market pretty easy. The office is a fast paced intense, but very collaborate environment. The recent investments from Goldman Sachs and TA have found their way into the product, people and marketing. The teams truly realize that DiscoverOrg is a leader and innovator in sales enablement, lead-generation and sales intelligence. It's routine to hear customers tell us that we helped them generate millions of dollars in new sales revenue with our products and services and in most cases gain hours per sales rep per week in selling time with our help. It’s pretty awesome to be a sales person who helps other sales people and companies grow.

Cons

Not a lot of flexibility to Work From Home.

Pros

Caliber of staff, caliber of leadership, the rare environment where the sales team buys into putting the team above themselves and helping everyone continuously improve. DiscoverOrg not only understands how to drive revenue for their customers, but also for themselves. The sales and marketing machine is fantastic. DiscoverOrg truly does care about its employees and in return their employees are dedicated to DiscoverOrg's success. The culture is A+.

Cons

Rarely work from home, lots of small tasks required for day-to-day activities. Think TPS reports from Office space. No real complaints, processes and tasks are a good thing - they can just be time consuming.

Pros

challenging technical projects, lots of very talented people constantly exchanging ideas. Never ever boring, things are constantly changing and it's been a great place to exercise change management techniques. The current SEO is uber positive and loves promoting internal successes.

Cons

upper management resistance to moving exceptional people to new open positions, no career growth or support at all. Piling projects on top of projects, most individual contributors struggle to maintain focus between shifting priorities daily. no project planning is allowed, everything is dictated from above between meetings, leaving teams struggling to apply agile methods to a hopeless situation. everyone works tons of hours and upper mgmt has taken away abilities to flex hours around family, working from home, taking classes or training. Individual Managers have no power to influence, no ability to schedule or commit or not, only able to raise red flags and do the best with no support. Very sad. Such great potential to be a great place to work.
