Pros

Trauma bonding with your peers. Made some actual lifelong friends while commiserating over how we were treated while working here. Your colleagues will be your one and only life raft and somehow ZoomInfo continues to land incredibly smart, resilient people with a good sense of humor (unless they are director+).

Cons

Senior leadership across organizations has absolutely no vision, emotional intelligence, or basic humanity. Instead of developing a marketing strategy for the second half of the year, leadership sent out a Google form to the entire org that essentially said “we don’t know, what do you think we should do?” This place has zero intellectual safety. They want employees in a constant state of fear so you have no time or energy to think about anything except working harder to keep your job. And thats exactly what you should do if you care about not being exited without warning.

I truly regret that your ZoomInfo experience felt this way. The recent restructuring in sales and marketing has been tough for many, and those decisions were exceedingly difficult, not made lightly, and by no means a reflection of the talent of the people impacted. We care deeply about fostering strong teams, thoughtful communication, and a respectful workplace. We appreciate your recognition of the talented colleagues you worked alongside and your willingness to share candid feedback. Thank you for everything you have done for ZoomInfo and best of luck in your next chapter. – Dennis Sevilla, ZoomInfo CMO

Pros

-Fast paced -Good people -Fantastic Tech Stack w -Surrounded by a lot of talented people

Cons

A complete shell of what ZoomInfo once was. During 2021-22 the company was the premier player in the space. The IPO was very exciting and a massive milestone but things quickly changed. A massive disconnect formed between CEO and business development, useless “innovation” and no clear angle for our teams to provide useful meetings for revenue. Senior BD lost focus on revenue and switched to empty KPIs and metrics to fulfill their own numbers. During this, our competitors filled gaps and caught up to us and even passed in many ways. I would highly consider what sort of sales environment you thrive in before looking at this company. -Pay dropped fast below industry standard -Boiler Room Sales -0 work/life balance if you want to get promoted -People are jumping ship faster than ever Very unfortunate, hopefully they can’t turn it around..

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am sorry to hear you felt quotas were unattainable. Coming into this year we actually lowered quotas in most segments after closely reviewing capacity, inbound volume, and AE headcount to help put teams in a position to earn and win. While market shifts can affect demand in ways we cannot fully control, we do account for ramp and performance when we set expectations and compensation. As our customer mix and market conditions evolve, we have to adjust our sales capacity and targets so we can serve customers effectively and stay competitive. I appreciate your candid feedback. – Steven Bryerton, ZoomInfo SVP of New Business Sales
