Pros

- Company truly is a rocket ship. Company will keep growing like crazy. - Pay is extremely competitive. We have ICs that make much more than directors at most companies. - The quality of the talent is light years beyond anywhere else I’ve worked. Everyone is an A player. - People who make an impact are identified and rewarded

Cons

- The leadership team is too in the weeds which will cause problems as we continue to scale - Empowerment can be hit or miss depending on the team. - The chaos of hyper growth is real and not for everyone. You need to be comfortable with the ground shifting under your feet and a high degree of ambiguity in most roles.

Pros

Leadership, training/coaching, and available resources are excellent. We use our own tech stack, which is best in class and they really teach you how to hunt for great prospects and repeat your successes. You'll make plenty of money here and set yourself up for success throughout your career, as all the SDR skills are foundational for the rest of what you do in your sales career.

Cons

If you're struggling you'll have to put in more time. The harsh reality is, that being an SDR is very much a crappy grind no matter what company you work for. You start each day with zero and need to book as many meetings as possible. ZoomInfo is no exception in that it's possible for you to hit burnout, as I have after a year of my foot on the gas. This isn't a knock on ZoomInfo though, as the result would be the same elsewhere except with less success.

Pros

I've worked at ZoomInfo through acquisitions for the past 3 years. In contrast with previous orgs I've worked for, ZI has a sales infrastructure in place to make anybody successful. Usually sales roles will have you "fake it until you make it" or they will reward tenure. At ZoomInfo you can be extremely successful within 3 months of starting the role. You'll know the industry knowledge, product knowledge and sales process within a few months. If you are a creative sales rep that runs your business against the grain, this is rewarded as well. There is no sink or swim at this company, you have some of the most talented software sales people in the world who guide you through this

Cons

As a newer sales rep, this organization is process driven. Because the org has seen so much success selling their way, the expectation is that you too will learn that ZI way of selling. From experience, the more you succeed the more your job is results driven
