Pros

-resume builder -good benefits -nothing else I can think of

Cons

**Worth noting somehow the team at ZI got my prior review removed. Their team is doing everything they can to try to fix their reputation on this site. ZoomInfo is a boys club and the CEO is extremely arrogant. It is the worst job I have had in my entire sales career. Micromanaging disguised as "leveling up" with daily wake up and sit down calls. PTO is celebrated as "unlimited," but there is a TON of fine print surrounding when you can actually take off - no end of month, no end of quarter and no end of year and it does not matter if you are a top performer. Zero trust in their employees and very old school in how they are approaching running a business. Their pay is less than market average and when I left I got a massive increase. Sales management is predominantly white males. I don't see a future for this company if they don't change and shift their focus to actually caring about their employees because right now all they care about is their bottom line.

Thank you for leaving us another comment. It’s likely that your previous review violated Glassdoor’s Community guidelines and/or included false and defamatory statements. We regret that your experience with us was not a positive one and we do understand that our fast-paced culture is demanding at times. We care tremendously about our employees' ability to thrive here and recently launched the ZI Voice employee engagement survey to listen to their concerns. We are committed to using the insights and trends to continue improving our employee experience.

Pros

- the product has an excellent reputation in the market and it's value prop makes ROI easy to quantify to customers

Cons

- expect constant change in processes, commission plans, roles, teams, etc. - inefficient processes and workflows put in place by management that double your daily work output and don't contribute to hitting your number - countless unnecessary internal meetings - had to fight battles with leadership to get paid on deals that I worked on - Pushy, used car salesmen-esque sales tactic are a way of life

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback as your insight is very valuable to us. We have grown at an incredible pace over the past two years and missed out on some opportunities to optimize our team structures and processes. We have reorganized some of our Sales teams to help align the SDRs, AEs, and AMs more effectively improving communication and process flow. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and I wish you the best of luck in your next career move.

Pros

Have to put something so good product.

Cons

Where does someone even begin? This is the most toxic culture I have ever witnessed in my professional career. Upper leadership has absolutely no clue how to manage employees. Work life balance is non existent in all departments; told us we were expected to work until midnight New Year’s Eve to close deals and told reps they needed people to work Thanksgiving. On top of that, management doesn't care about your wellbeing or mental health. People are guilted about taking time off, and are texted or called when they are off asking about the status of their deals. on the last day of the month leadership volunteered all managers to be available all night to close deals. This puts those with families and a life outside of this company in a very difficult position. Bullying in the workplace is part of the culture. Management reveals confidential information about other employees, complains about them behind their back, and/or makes fun of them as if we are in high school. They also believe fear based motivation is the way to go - putting people on display in front of hundreds of their peers and criticizing them to the point of embarrassment. It is a shame because the product is decent but the individuals they put in leadership roles diminish everything. The entire company is a walking clone of each other.. Profit over people is true in previous reviews. Please consider taking a job here and only do so if you are desperate. Keep in mind - they love to cover their negative reviews with fake positive ones to keep up their good ratings.

Thank you for your feedback. We regret that you had a poor experience working at ZoomInfo. We are concerned by your reports of bullying and improper use of confidential information. This behavior does not reflect our values and is not commensurate with the workplace we strive to build for our employees. With respect to work/life balance, it’s important to note that we have a high-octane, sales-driven culture. Our sales organization prides itself on providing top quality customer service, which means we are working when our customers are working. We do have staff working on Thanksgiving, but this is on a voluntary basis and can be very lucrative due to our uncapped commission policy for some sales roles. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. If you would like to discuss any of these concerns further, please contact us at HRfeedback@zoominfo.com. -Paige, Employee Experience
