Pros

You have the chance to get promoted from within

Cons

Lots, not sure where to begin on this one. On paper ZI seems like the place you'd want to work, but I highly recommend you start your journey elsewhere. When I first joined ZI, I was promised unlimited PTO, and a large stake in RSU's well fast forward to the vesting cycle and those RSU's are worth about 65% less then when I got them...... Also FYI unlimited PTO is no longer an option at ZI. Read the 1 star reviews they're 99% are accurate. The best way to describe Zoominfo is a toxic relationship, but you don't know you're in one until it's too late. Constant feeling of pressure, constant micro managing, constant meetings about how we need to increase our numbers. Felt like a slave driver rather than someone who is appreciated for the work. . People are literally SCARED to take vacation because they wont hit their numbers. This is not a work environment you want to be a part of. On my team alone I had 4 managers in 1.5 years and many new SDR's so a very high turn over rate.... that's for a reason. Quota is always changing as well. Mgmt does not care about you at all, you're just a number. Work life balance is terrible as well. Don't even try to get an increase in your base pay, they will not do anything and will keep telling you new excuses as to why they can't give you a raise. 3 years in I have asked management many times, and get the run around always.

Thanks for spending the time to leave a review. We wanted to clarify on our front-loaded PTO policy for SDRs, which aligns with industry trends and best practices. By providing a bank of PTO hours within a calendar year, we aim to encourage a culture where you feel empowered and comfortable taking the time off. The decision to implement these changes is rooted in our commitment to enhance and streamline ZoomInfo's operational processes and not to punish our hard-working employees. Should you have any ideas to share to improve please reach out confidentially to your Human Resources Business Partner to talk through your concerns.

Boring but simple

Pros

Pay was great, immediate leadership was super supportive, I felt like my team always had my back. They hired great people that were a lot of fun to work with.

Cons

Boring office, boring product, sales would often make promises to clients that we couldn't live up to. Return to office was brutal, as downtown vancouver is miserable, especially after being remote for years. It was very much a sales org, not being in sales meant I practically didn't exist.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review about your experience. As you know great things are happening at ZI! It’s been an incredible journey since we went public in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic. And today, Feb. 6th was an exceptional day… ZoomInfo finally got to ring the opening bell at Nasdaq after leading the pack to be the first tech IPO of the pandemic era! We also announced Copilot, an AI-powered GTM game changer that will make every seller the best seller. We are hoping you are reenergized by these milestones and share in our success!
