Pros

Coming to work for DiscoverOrg was one of the best decisions I ever made and I will never look back. I have only been here a couple months, but I have felt the difference every day. Even though I wake up earlier to come to work, I'm actually EXCITED to go see my new friends and have fun in my job! I'm also given plenty of opportunities outside of my "normal" job duties to be creative and make a difference in the company and our processes. P.S.- The people are amazing here and treat you with respect in whatever job you are in - I feel truly valued working here.

Too much growth, longer lines for the microwaves.

Pros

I loved the training process and the organization of the company.

Cons

There's a lot of pressure put on the researchers since they're DiscoverOrg's "unfair advantage" against other companies that are similar. Also, they don't give you much of a chance to improve from the second you get hired. It's basically sink or swim and if you can't get up to their ridiculously high expectations, then you get fired. Don't expect to work here for long unless you can schmooze the upper management directors or get a lot of numbers fast.

Thanks for the feedback. There is no question that we are a metrics driven organization. We recognize that in order to provide the best service for our clients that we have to be focused on the things that matter to them and we need to measure those things - like you point out "lots of numbers fast" - direct dial numbers are important for our clients and you're correct in pointing out that we are metrics focused on those when it comes to our research team. I appreciate the sentiment about the lack of opportunity to "swim" and will talk to our HR and Training leaders to make sure that we are giving our employees the tools and training they need to be successful here.
