Dedicated to technology--driver of the business Financially successful and stable Once "training wheels" come off, freedom given to drive projects Staff here are the most intelligent colleagues I've ever worked wtih

Cons

Executive management can be demanding, but no more than other similarly-sized companies In almost 4 years, still have not been invited to any family-welcome company events Freedom to drive projects can be a double-edged sword as you can easily go down a "wrong path" for hours or days, so re-tread or complete direction shifts are not uncommon Stifling cubicle environment, although rumors circulate about a coming change

Pros

Forces you to learn and pick up on things quickly. If you are smart you will do fine, but for the salary they have a hard time getting smart people to accept the salary. Good experience if you can't find anything else in your field to fill your resume, but don't expect a significant promotion or raise in line with other tech companies.

Cons

Micromanagement, even at times down to the minute. If something is wrong with the software for a client, it is your fault and the client and management will both attack you until it is fixed, then you will move on to the next fire once you are done with that, assuming you can keep off the phone that customers can call at any time with any question they desire on demand.
