I cannot speak for the entire firm or well other office locations as to the office politics but in the Tempe, AZ office they were ridiculously awful. Overall the work is fairly simple however it's very monotonous and draining. I was informed by HR upon hire that it was a quiet office but she did not know why. There was no talking aloud in the office, not even work related chat as told by my supervisor (mostly due to a few people hating talking). They claimed to be team orientated but no one was aloud to consult on work together to make the process or productivity any better so I failed to see how any "teamwork" was accomplished. There was much favoritism towards a few employees that seemed to be the "pets" of the two higher ups in the office. There is no effort to keep tenure of employees nor are raises given at all. Any reports to HR also go ignored or retaliation occurs. If you curious about benefits, they are only affordable if you are making the attorney's salary however if you are the coverage is great. Making up time is difficult as no one who is required to be there if you work is willing to stay later or work a later shift.
