Pros

- Company culture. Zymo values scientific advancement and innovation which makes working there meaningful since I feel like my time is used to better society. Coworkers are fun and diverse. - There are a lot of career, leadership, and compensation opportunities if you are willing to step into leadership positions and continue to develop. I find the people who are most satisfied with their career here clearly communicated with their managers what their career goals were. Zymo also invests in continuing education and developing more skills with employees. - Management is approachable. CEO has an open-door policy for anyone to come to talk to him, from manufacturing to R&D. - Extremely good learning environment for motivated people.

Cons

- May not be the right fit if you have issues with communication, if you are not able to adapt quickly, or if you are not a team player. The company is not structured like a big corporation which can be a pro or a con depending on your personality and your career goals. The company seems to focus on the bigger picture, which has led to its growth.
