Excellent people and culture that genuinely advanced my career
Pros
The people and culture were the standout: supportive, collaborative colleagues who genuinely invested in each other's growth. I was trusted with meaningful, high-ownership work early on rather than being boxed into narrow tickets. That autonomy, paired with genuine mentorship, accelerated my development as an engineer more than any role before it. Leadership backed real modernisation work instead of just talking about it, so you could ship things that mattered. A great environment to grow technically and take on responsibility.
Cons
As with any global company operating across multiple sites, coordination across time zones and business units occasionally slowed decisions down. Some internal processes and documentation were still maturing, so a bit of context-gathering was needed when picking up unfamiliar domains. Nothing that overshadowed the experience, but areas where a little more structure would help newer joiners ramp faster.
