It is a lot of work, but I honestly don't realize that I spend so much time here at the office because it doesn't feel like "work." The people who work here and the alliantgroup mission makes time fly and gives me great purpose. If you're not great at accepting and giving honest feedback, this may not be the environment for you. I was an athlete all my life and I love this kind of open communication, it really just enforces everyone to use their voice and to help us all continue to become better. There is always room for growth.

One could legitimately write a book about this place-- some have attempted in short form (just Google alliantgroup Houston Press, they've done well to try and bury the search results, but you'll find it). Where to start... Leadership violate their own corporate tenants on a daily basis. Transparency is a buzzword that gets thrown around but when a worker bee inquires about something, they're seen as 'not fully trusting that leadership has their best interests at heart'. If you're in a commission earning role, don't expect to be able to see any of the behind the scenes documentation or justification for payment (or lack thereof). Again, if you request it, they take it as an insult. If you have noticed the trend in the 5 star reviews, you're not crazy. It's a thing. Employees are "encouraged" to write positive reviews. Some senior level employees have recurring calendar reminders to flood Glassdoor with positive reviews that fawn over leadership and the "opportunity" and how it's "not for everyone". Simply put, if you do decide that alliantgroup is your first or next stop, be prepared to drink your fill of the kool-aid. You will deny yourself a great many things including family life, personal time, social life, and very likely your sanity. I've never encountered a company where there is a regular meeting around town of it's former employees who sit around sharing war stories and thanking God they aren't working there anymore.
