Pros

You'll feel welcomed when you first join. HR is very helpful getting you settled in whether you are local or moving from another state. I work in R&D and there are very resourceful and help full people to learn from when you first come in and through out your career here. Head of R&D is a sharp, hands on guy and you would be able to learn a lot from him. If you produce good results you will be rewarded. Opportunity to take part in real innovation.

Cons

Not enough resources for some positions. Therefore some of your tasks get delayed.
