Micromanaged call center in nasty tiny cubicles.
Pros
Flexible schedule and possibility to work from home. Low stress level. International crowd (at the lower levels of the company). Monthly bonuses are relatively easy to get based on # of calls made and $ recovered.
Cons
Where do I begin? Ugly offices - nastiest and tiniest cubicles you will ever see. They never tell you during the interview, but basically SRS position is a call center job. Micromanaged at every step of your job. No autonomy whatsoever. No diversity at the top or middle management (white male accountant types with not much education, BS at best). If you work as an SRS all you do is sit in front of the computer and make calls all day. Every minute of your day is tracked including bathroom breaks, coffee breaks, etc. So forget making a small talk with your cubicle neighbor or taking a minute to stretch. No wonder I gained 10 lbs from sitting all day there!
