Athena is full of dedicated professionals and provides a positive working envirnment. Athena promotes cross-employee training sessions. There is a free shuttle bus from Harvard Sq to the Watertown, MA.

Cons

The Watertown, MA office has a limited selection of lunch options around the office. Parking lot can get filled up quickly.

Pros

Gain a broad, end-to-end exposure to the software development cycle, get to work on multi-disciplinary teams, and get to take ownership of projects. You also get the opportunity to go on-site and visit customers' workplace to gain insights for your work, and you get to learn a lot about the industry.

Cons

Because the company is growing so fast, there is little training on products and you are responsible for your own knowledge transfer. There is ambiguity in the leadership so it feels like you have to satisfy a moving target. Formal feedback given through performance review system often did not match the informal feedback given through the evaluation term.
