Pros

Generous discount Sampling Lets your artistic ability to shine Seasonal Seminars- updates on products pay was ok

Cons

Not treated fairly within staff Way too much gossip talk and rumor starting Company set goals so highly unachievable Employees would get written up for petty things Emails from the DM were too school like- had to write reviews about the week prior in 1-2 pages. No trust with anyone- way too female dominated-too much competition with one another. Not enough payroll hours

Pros

Excellent discount. Good Gratis Nice health benefits A place where it has been set up to feel like we as a company make a difference every day.

Cons

Not enough head count. One person does the job of multiple people Our retail partners hold all of the power and we are forced to bend over backward to make them happy. Corporate employees have better perks- summer holidays, corporate meetings with open bar ect. Field does not feel that trickle down. We can not compete with other brands. We have no budget to do the basic things that smaller companies are able to provide. Treats for the cast, freelance support ect. If we could be competitive we would be able to bring in even more dollars and make a profit. We are forced to pay out of pocket to do many of the things we need for our jobs. i.e. printing at home, buying our own ink, driving our own cars and not being compensated at even the government rate, paying our credit card bills out of pocket when expenses are not reimbursed in a timely matter.

Pros

Flexible schedule Competitive health care benefits.

Cons

poor management is able to stay in position. Do as I say not as I do. management has no regard for regular work hours, or allowance of work/life balance. No room for growth. Area of the company is not invested in,and position is dead end. Area of company is not competitive. Work load is high. Company introduced "P50" telling us what we should be making vs. what we are making. Most were paid under. No movement made in salary. Not motivating. Also, there is no transparancy in where they got these figures. Who knows if they are accurate. Car allowance continues to be bad. Why not just pay straight government standard mileage? Most are paying to do their job, driving their own car and are not being compensated anywhere near the government standard rate.
