Pros

When I first started there was a lot of benefits, and hours where great. Commission was great loved the makeup, and having regular customers was lovely. I enjoyed the Christmas period too very busy but exciting, lots of new products every year. Was fab.

Cons

Unfortunately my hours where cut and lost a lot of my benefits, commission changed so you where not rewarded unless you where a high achiever . I wanted more hours for quite some time and they put 2 job roles up for a full time positions in my store. So I don’t think they care too much about staff retention. Training could often be monotonous and the targets where ridiculous. Counter managers had priority of rotas so if they wanted the same day off as you, you can guarantee you wouldn’t get it off. And some counter managers where unpleasant and undermining in most cases. Some days very slow apart from xmas. I will say I had a pleasant area Manager who was supportive especially through covid times. But in general I felt let down by a company that I initially was excited to work for.
